7 Disney World Vacation Add Ons Worth the Money!

Looking for that extra magic to make your next Disney vacation even more magical? Disney Vacation add ons are one of my favorite parts of going on a Disney Vacation and are an amazing way to add a extra sprinkle of magic to any trip! Although these add ons are an additional cost to your vacation, they can make it so much more memorable. This is especially true for all of the Disney veterans out there that are looking for something fun and new to add to their next trip. Check out my list below of every Disney Vacation Add on that is worth the extra money!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Who hasn’t dreamed of having their very own Cinderella moment in real life? Now thanks to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and a few fairy godmothers in training the little princess in your party can! This is an absolutely amazing experience that is a game-changer to any magical Disney vacation. With two locations on the property and several packages available, this is a great way to add extra magic to your vacation! Check out the differnt packages avaible here.

:PRO TIP:

You don’t have to buy the dress and accessories in the park! Bring your own princess dress and save a few bucks! Make sure to check shopdisney.com near halloween or their twice upon a year sale as they are often on sale.

Dessert Party

Dessert parties were something I stayed away from for years due to their extra cost. Is it really worth the $100+ per person for unlimited desserts and priority viewing for a show or fireworks display? It was not until recently that I decided to bite the bullet and book a dessert party for one of my most recent trips and man, was it worth it! My party and I had a blast and filled up on some amazing treats and drinks before getting to watch the Christmas holiday fireworks in Hollywood Studios in a priority viewing spot. Dessert Parties are an amazing way to celebrate a special event or to get reserved viewing for your favorite fireworks show. There are several different parties offered throughout the year to check out!

:PRO TIP:

Bring some baggies or containers to fill up with some extra treats to take back to your room. We did this and were able to snack on them the entire trip! It is unlimited treats for a reason!

Backstage Tour

Have a Disney Nerd in your party? Do a backstage tour! There are several different tours to check out that will allow you to go backstage of the magic and see how it all works! These are a great way to see behind the magic and learn about how Disney runs. There are several different tours that explore differnt parks and topics. Memory Maker

If you are visiting Walt Disney World for the first or tenth time, Memory Maker is a great addition to any trip. Memory Maker allows you to have access to thousands of high-quality photos taken by photo pass photographers throughout the parks after the trip. This add on is around $200 so make sure that your family likes photos and that you actively go to photo spots to have your photo taken. I find that this is a great add on if you have children in your party that want to meet characters. Let the photo pass photographers capture the magic while you make memories!

:PRO TIP:

Purchase Memory Maker before leaving for you trip to save!

After Hour Events

In the pasts few years, Disney has been offering many new After Hour Events. These are an additional ticket that allows you to go to one of the parks after it closes for a few extra hours of fun. These events are great because Disney limits the number of people who can attend and in turn makes the wait times extremely low. It is usually 1/3 or less of the park’s capicity. These events start at about $115 per person depending on the season and event.

Build a Droid or Lightsaber

If you are a Star Wars fan, you probably already know about this one and it is totally worth the money. Now in Hollywood Studios, you can visit Galaxies Edge and build your very own lightsaber and droid. Building a droid starts at $99.95 and a lightsaber at $199. During my last trip, I built a droid and it was one of the most fun things I did the entire trip. If you are a Star Wars fan it is worth every penny.

Mickey’s Not So Scary or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Visiting during the holiday season? Make sure to check out Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and/or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. These are additional ticket parties that happen in the Magic Kingdom every fall and winter season. Similar to after-hour events you will be able to enjoy the Magic Kingdom after it closes to the general ticket holders and experience the park in a whole new way. For more information about these parties click here!

I recommend adding one or more of these things to your next Walt Disney World vacation! Check out the rest of my blog for more tips and tricks!
