How to Save Time By Mobile Ordering in Disney World!

Mobile Ordering has forever changed the way you order food in Walt Disney World. This newer addition to most of the quick service restraints has saved me so much time during my vacations.

What is Mobile Ordering?

Mobile Ordering is a feature in the My Disney Experience that allows you order your food ahead of time and pick it up without waiting in line. I saved so much time during my last trip using this feature. I only had to wait on my food instead of waiting to order and then waiting on my food.

Where Can I Mobile Order?

You can always check in the My Disney Experience App but as of right now these are the current restaurants using the service:

Magic Kingdom

Aloha Isle (Get Dole Whip Here)

Casey’s Corner (Amazing Hotdogs)

Columbia Harbour House

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café (My Go-To)

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

Pinocchio Village Haus

The Lunching Pad

Epcot

Electric Umbrella (May be closing during Epcot’s Refreshments)

Hollywood Studios

ABC Commissary

Backlot Express (My Favorite)

Catalina Eddie’s

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

How Do I Mobile Order?

-Open the My Disney Experience App

-Press the + button at the bottom of the app

-Select Order Food

-Choose the restaurant you want to order from

-Add food to the order

-Place Order

-Once you are at the restaurant and click “Prepare My Order”

-Find the Mobile Order Pick Up area and wait for your order number to be called

-Enjoy your food!

Can I use my Dining Plan when Mobile Ordering?

Yes! Once your vacation begins your dining plan will sink with the app and will tell you what credits will be used based on what is in your cart. It will also tell you that you can add a drink to quick service meals in case you forget.

Can I use a Credit Card to pay?

Yes! You can also use a credit card or debit card to pay as well. You can also charge the card that is on file.

Can I use my Discount with Mobile Ordering?

At this time you can not use your AP or DVC discounts when Mobile Ordering. Hopefully Disney will change this soon.

My Thoughts:

I personally love Mobile Ordering! It saves me so much time and keeps me from having to fight even more people in line. I usually will place my order while waiting in line for a ride and then head there after I get off the ride! It works out great and gives me something to do inline. I would recommend this service to everyone! Disney is also now allowing you to pick if you would like your order to go at some locations as well. I can’t wait to see that roll out to all of them!
